Technology Computer Labs

We have three multipurpose labs for classroom instruction and general student use:

  • Room 224 lab (29 student computers)
  • LMC (Library Media Center) Lab (28 student computers)
  • Room 207 Lab (25 student computers)

Teachers: We have simplified the reservation process for the 2007-08 school year. Reserve the labs by opening your browser and clicking:

  • Inside PA,
  • Link to the applicable lab on the left side menu,
  • Find an available date and block,
  • New Item,
  • Fill in the information on the drop down menu ,
  • Save and Close
  • Full directions to reserve the labs (pdf)

We also have 32 computers in the LMC main research area that can be used by students for research and school projects. All computers in the Library, LMC Lab, and Room 224 Lab are HP, Windows XP machines, with AMD Athlon 64 processors, 1 GB RAM with DVD+RW/CD-RW drives and 17 inch LCD flat screen monitors.

We also have 14 laptop carts with 20 laptops in each cart that are available for teacher check out to use in their classrooms.

In December 0f 2005, all school computers were migrated (ugraded) to WindowsXP, Microsoft Office 2003, and Windows Networking. Links to documents related to this change are listed below:

Room 224 Lab Hours

  • 7:00 - 7:20 a.m. (before school) Open to students
  • Blocks 1, 2, 3 --Classes Only (students who are in a study hall should be given passes
    to use the library during these blocks).
  • Block 4 (12:39 - 2:14 p.m.) Open to classes and students with passes.
  • 2:14 - 3:00 p.m. (after school) Open to Students with passes.
  • Between All blocks: Students may stop in to quickly print a paper if a teacher is present.

Teachers may use the lab at any time if seats are available, but no student may use the lab without a teacher present. Teachers should close the door and turn off the lights if they are the last to leave the room.

Sign In: All students (except scheduled classes) should sign in. Forms are in the blue notebook on the first desk. Teachers do not need to sign in.

Note: This schedule is subject to the availability of the CRS. A sign will be posted if the lab is closed.

LMC Lab Hours

The LMC lab is available for classes and teacher use during blocks 1 - 4. The LMC lab may be used by students with passes if it is available, and with the permission of the library media specialists.

LMC Main research area

Library hours are 7:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. The computers in the library are available for students with passes during blocks 1, 2, 3. Students will be directed to Room 224 during 4th block and after school.
