Beach District semifinals
Princess Anne achieved its biggest win of the season in the Beach District semifinals Thursday despite having a starting lineup altered by illness.
The No. 2 seed Cavaliers (19-3) outlasted third-seeded Kellam, 25-22, 23-25, 28-26, 25-15, earning a berth in next week’s Eastern Region in the field.

Oct. 22 , 2009: SENIOR NIGHT FOR THE LADY CAVALIER VOLLEYBALL TEAM IS A SUCCESS:)  Last night, the girls volleyball team held their first place ranking by defeating #4 Ocean Lakes.  What an awesome match as the packed gym watched and celebrated VICTORY.................The team, especially Seniors, Lindsay K., Elizabeth K., Nichole B., and Courtney H., would like to thank everyone who came out to support them in their final play of regular season at their home gym.   MARK your calendars for NEXT THURSDAY when the team will go up against # 2 Cox...at Cox......for the FINAL game of regular season play....COME out in TRUE PA Colors and LET's BRING down the house at COX.......PA STYLE  :)

Oct. 8 , 2009 The Lady Cavaliers put the LIGHTS OUT on the Kellam Knights  as reported by the Pilot -----
#1 Princess Anne d. #3 Kellam, 25-12, 26-24, 19-25, 12-25, 16-14

PA Girls edged the Kellam Knights 16-14 in the fifth set, achieving the best start in school history. Gaby S. and Brooke B. led the attack with 17 and 15 kills, respectively, while Lindsay K. totaled 42 assists.

Sept. 22, 2009 PA hosted their first annual DIG PINK event to raise funds and awareness for breast cancer and with the help of  everyone involved it was a HUGE success. At the end of the evening Princess Anne Girls & Boys volleyball raised over $1,000.00 towards the cause.

Sept. 22, 2009 At the Landstown game, the crowd was well pleased as all 20 Lady Cavaliers had a part in the sweeping victory!  Coach Dooren was able to play all 20 athletes and it was great to see them all on the court!  Way to go Ladies:)

Sept. 15, 2009 PA ranked #1 in Tidewater for only the second time in school history

Sept. 5, 2009 Sophomore Gaby S. was voted to the All Tournament Team during the Virginia Showcase in Richmond

Sept. 1, 2009 PA was ranked  3rd in the Tidewater Area by the Virginian Pilot in the High School Volleyball Preview..
