Cav Notes

2011 Season: Zack Unger qualified for the regional tournament.

2010 Season: The team finished 5-5 in 2010. PA finished 6th in the District Tournament. The team shot 337-331 each day. Brandon G. shot 77-77 and qualified for the Regional tournament. At Regionals he shot 76-73 and qualified for the State tournament. At State he shot 85-79.

2009 Season: The team finished 7-3 in 2009.

2008 Season: The Golf team under Coach Hutch Hammond qualified for the Eastern Region Tournament in 2008. The team shot 295 the second day, only 7 shots over par on the par 72 course for the top 4 scores. The team finished the regular season with a 7-3 record .

History: Golf has a had a good tradition at PA going back to the 1970's when we won state championships in 1971, 1972, and 1977. The first two state championship teams were led by 2-time U.S. Open champion Curtis Strange, who was inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame on November 12, 2007.
