An archive page of our 1999 state championship basketball team.
The boys varsity basketball team had the finest season in Princess Anne High School history, finishing 26-3. They won the Beach District regular season championship, the Eastern Region Tournament and closed out the season with a state championship.

In the championship game the situation almost reversed itself against South Lakes.
PA led by 11 at the half and 22 at the end of 3 quarters.
South Lakes refused to cave in. In a furious 4th quarter charge they had a chance to win.
Down by 2 South Lakes missed a 3 pointer with 3 seconds left. Season high scorer
Daryl Towe. was fouled on the rebound, sank 1 of 2 and the Cavaliers were State Champs.
