Join us in the creation of our PA Perspective! Listen to your peers speak about topics such as atheism as a label or how to have a meaningful political dialogue at PA Talks on Thursday, April 27th 3-5pm in the LMC.

Come one, come all to the Poetry Slam Tuesday after school in the LMC! Watch your classmates' performance poetry get judged by audience members for the title of Bad Slamma Jamma! And all you poets out there, there will an Open Mic session immediately following the slam! So get up there and strut your stuff!!!

The PA NJROTC Unit and the American Red Cross will be holding a Blood Drive on Thursday, April 27 in the small gym from 7:30 AM to 1:30 PM. You can donate blood if you are 16 years or older. Appointment times can be made by the cafeteria during your lunch period or at the NJROTC building any time during the day. Before making your appointment, make arrangements with your teacher if you will be missing class.

Attention Students: Are you looking for a summer job? Applications are being accepted for the Summer Youth Employment Program (SYEP) for young people ages 16-21 years old. Deadline is April 30th. Please see Ms. Gorham for additional information.

There will be a Military-Connected Counselor here next week to meet with military-connected seniors to assist them with the form (Form 22-1990) that must be completed to use G.I. Bill benefits. The counselor will also be available for to answer questions pertaining to college and financial assistance.

Attention Students: The Culinary Institute of Virginia will be having its Career Discovery Day TOMORROW from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. Students must RSVP to attend. Additional information is available in the counseling office.

Attention Students: Tidewater Community College will be having its annual Spring Open House TOMORROW from 9:00 am to noon. Learn about financial aid options, tour the campus, apply for admissions, and register for classes. Additional information is available in the counseling office.

Attention Seniors! Scholarship deadlines are looming! Due this week: Beach Ford- Due to Ms. Delaney TODAY; Malibu Elementary- Due to Malibu TODAY. Also Seniors, please notify Ms. Delaney of any scholarships you have received, either by e-mail or in person! Any seniors who plan to enlist in the military after graduation please notify Ms. Delaney as well.

Attention IB Juniors: Don't forget your Extended Essay Research Question Form is due on Friday, April 28. Make plans to meet with your supervisor ASAP, if you haven't already had your first reflection session!!

There will be a UNICEF Club meeting next Tuesday (April 25th) afterschool in room 911. Come to pick up your club t-shirt! Also, don't forget about our Panera Cashola next Thursday (April 27th) from 4-8 pm.

FBLA: FBLA Career Day field trip form and money due date has been extended to Tuesday, April 25. All Officers, Competitors, and Members should stop by their business teacher's room to pick up a field trip form. DUE DATE FIRM.

Do you want to be mentored by a millionaire? Do you want to meet the legendary NFL player Bruce Smith? Then attend the Leadership Lecture at Green Run High School, Tuesday, April 25th 6:30-8:00pm. Flyers are in the Main Office and Guidance.

There will be an all-nighter at Pinboys Bowling Alley TONIGHT from 11:00pm-5:30 am sponsored by Young Life. Cost is $15. Come hang out and have a blast with hundreds of other high school students from every school in Virginia Beach. If you need more information or a form, go by room 305. Hope to see you there!!

Any male interested in playing volleyball next season. There will be open gyms starting April 25th after school until 4:30 and will be held each Tuesday and Thursday after. No experience need, but you must have a current physical on file to attend.

Come out to see our Cavalier Lacrosse team TONIGHT vs Landstown HS at 7pm at our Cavalier's SENIOR NIGHT. Entry is free but please bring a canned food item to the game. The first 100 students will receive FREE sunglasses.
