PA Center
Princess Anne Center began as the Thalia Center for Pregnant Teens in 1973 to provide continuing education for pregnant senior high schools girls in the city of Virginia Beach. It is operated by the Virginia Beach City School System under the department of homebound instruction at no cost to students. The program is housed in portables on the grounds of Princess Anne High School. The students at the Center are under the same rules and regulations as the Princess Anne High School students. Because our class sizes are small, these at-risk students can receive individual attention in a small group instructional setting. Classes begin at 7:20 A.M. and end at1:45 P.M. Office hours are 7:00 A.M. to 2:30 P.M.

The mission of Princess Anne Center is to provide a quality education for pregnant students in order to facilitate the completion of their high school education.
