The ACCESS College Foundation will help students in the public schools of South Hampton Roads go to college:

• by inspiring the hope that a college education is attainable;
• by supporting them in achieving the requirements for college acceptance;
• by guiding them through the college application process and
• by assisting them in gaining the funds to attend college

Specifically, ACCESS advisors file federal applications for student aid for students from their senior year in high school until they graduate from college. They show students how to search for scholarships and apply for scholarships offered by ACCESS.ACCESS Advisors assist parents in understanding college admissions and financial aidand provide informational programs for students and parents. ACCESS Advisors hostSAT Prep programs at high schools at no cost to students and help them sign up for the SAT and ACT tests. Additionally, ACCESS Advisors help students choose a collegeby providing information, hosting college tours for students and helping students complete college admissions applications.
